The Sandstone Beanie Hat is made using the linked double crochet stitch for the body and then the basic single crochet stitches for the brim. Finally, add a pom-pom to top it off.
For this sample, I used Caron Macchiato Cakes in the color Whisper. It’s listed as a #5 weight bulky yarn, but it feels more like a #4 worsted weight, and a size 6.00 mm J/10 crochet hook.
This yarn has a nice color transition in beautiful shades of cream, tan and light grey.
