In this video tutorial I’ll show you how to crochet the Linked Double Crochet Stitch. This makes a pretty fabric perfect for blankets, hats and ear warmers or any project needing a sturdy, dense fabric.
This stitch can be made with any size yarn and corresponding crochet hook. If the yarn is lighter weight, it will result in a smaller fabric, and if it is a bulky weight, it will result in a larger fabric.

Furls Crochet Hook: US H/8, 5.00 mm
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Yarn needle
Abbreviations & Stitches used: In US Terminology
ch โ chain
ldc โ linked double crochet
sp(s) โ space(s)
st(s) โ stitch(es)
yo โ yarn over
TIPS:
- Can be made in any size yarn weight for different projects.
- Made in Rows, turn after each row.
- Count your stitches at the end of each Row.
- A one Row repeat.
