In this video tutorial I’ll show you how to crochet the Linked Double Crochet Stitch. This makes a pretty fabric perfect for blankets, hats and ear warmers or any project needing a sturdy, dense fabric.

This stitch can be made with any size yarn and corresponding crochet hook. If the yarn is lighter weight, it will result in a smaller fabric, and if it is a bulky weight, it will result in a larger fabric.

Supplies:
Red Heart With Love, color Tangerine
Furls Crochet Hook: US H/8, 5.00 mm
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Yarn needle

Abbreviations & Stitches used: In US Terminology
ch – chain
ldc – linked double crochet
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
yo – yarn over

TIPS:

• Can be made in any size yarn weight for different projects.
• Made in Rows, turn after each row.
• Count your stitches at the end of each Row.
• A one Row repeat.
