Broomstick Lace Cowl – Free Crochet Pattern
The Broomstick Lace Cowl is a beautiful crochet pattern with a lacy, textured design. The unusual and repetitive stitching is fun to make as you use a knitting needle and a crochet hook in basic single crochet and double crochet stitches. Scroll down for the free crochet pattern.

Made in a DK weight yarn, this Merino Wool really shows the stitch definition. A nice yarn substitute is any DK weight yarn in solids or variegated colors. Other fibers will work nicely as well such as acrylic, cotton, or a combination of them too.
As seen in Simply Crochet Magazine, Issue 125.

I chose size “H” or 5.0 mm crochet hook, and a large knitting needle in size “50” or 25.0 mm to make this cowl. It works up quickly too.
