I love this color purple and even though it’s an ombre yarn, this section of color is SO pretty to me. This is Red Heart Ombre yarn, which comes in a lot of gorgeous colors. I had this skein for a while and decided to play around with the Tunisian crochet hook and the Ombre Scarf was the result. This is a good one to practice your tension and it’s always fun to get to the next shade of color in the skein. I made the four fringe tassels to attach to the ends, but those are optional, and don’t need to included them if you don’t want to.

Make 4 fringe tassels consisting of 15 strands of yarn each, measuring 12 inches long. Wrap yarn 60 times around a book or cardboard that is about 6 inches across. Cut yarn off the book or cardboard along one end to remove it. Separate into 4 groups of 15 strands of yarn. Cut 4 additional pieces of yarn approximately 10 inches in length to use in assembly and attaching the tassels to the scarf.
Take 1 group of yarn, fold in half, using 1 additional piece of yarn, wrap it around the fold and make a tight knot, attach to end of scarf with another knot, wrap additional piece of yarn about 1 inch from the top approximately 5 times around, make another knot, weave in the ends to the middle of tassel. Repeat for the other 3 tassels.
End of Pattern.
