Easy Crochet Edging – Free Crochet Pattern
The Easy Crochet Edging is a thick border that is simple to make and adds beauty to a lace or solid design. Made in basic crochet stitches with lots of texture.

In this crochet pattern you will find simple stitches repeated to make a wide border. This adds a nice solid edge that looks nice on any project.
A closer look at the corner area.
I’ve used this border on my Tranquil Lapghan, with a slight variation to the Round 1 stitch count. This can also be used for my Easy C2C Dream Blanket, or any of my Corner-to-Corner blankets, by working into the ch-3 spaces around the edges.
You could also add this to any of my Blanket Patterns, or my Tunisian Spa Cloths for example, by simply placing your stitches evenly around in a stitch for stitch basis for Round 1, rather than in a chain space, and then make the corners as written. Then follow Rounds 2-5 for the remainder of the pattern.
