The C2C technique is very fun once you understand the basics. It’s a great way to use up stash yarn to make a beautiful blanket. My family enjoys using the stash blankets I’ve made during the winter.
Here are some of my blanket patterns using the C2C (corner-to-corner) technique:
Tips:
- Start on one corner, increase on both sides each row until desired width.
- For length, increase only on one side.
- Then to complete the fabric, decrease on both sides each row, down to one cluster.
- A great tip to find the 4th chain from your hook is chain 3, hold that 3rd chain, then chain 3 more chains. Your finger will be on the chain that you need to work into. See video for demonstration.
- Your current row that you’re working on will have RS facing, and your previous row should have WS facing.
