Candy Corn Coasters Free Crochet Pattern
The Candy Corn Coasters is a free crochet pattern and are so pretty to add to your Fall decorations. Crochet them using basic stitches in half double crochet, chain and slip stitches. I’ve included a video tutorial as well.

Candy Corn Coasters
Skill Level: Intermediate
Size: Finished size 5 inches.
Supplies:
Red Heart Super Saver: Color (A) White – 4 Yards; Color (B) Pumpkin – 10 Yards
Caron One Pound Color (C) Sunflower – 12 Yards
Hook – H/8 – 5.00 mm
Yarn Needle
Gauge: 3 ½ Inches after Round 3.
Abbreviations: In US Terminology
beg – beginning
ch(s) – chain(s)
hdc – half double crochet
sk – skip
sl st – slip stitch
st(s) – stitch(es) yo – yarn over
Special Stitches:
cs: Crunch Stitch – hdc in next st, sl st in next st.
shdc: Standing Half Double Crochet – yo hook, insert into indicated stitch, yo, pull through, yo, pull through all 3 loops on hook. See video tutorial: HERE.
Notes:
1. Worked in the Round, turn after each Round.
2. Written in US terminology.
3. Chain 2 at beginning of Round counts as a stitch.
4. Chain 1 at beginning of Round does not count as a stitch.
5. Stitch counts are in brackets ( ) at the end of each Round.
6. Crochet over tails when changing to a new color.
Pattern Starts Here
Color (A): Ch 3 (counts as 1 hdc, ch to place stitches into).
Round 1: 9 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, sl st to top of beg ch-3. (10 hdc).
Round 2: Ch 2, turn, 1 hdc in same st, *2 hdc in next st, repeat from *, sl st to top of beg ch-2. (20 hdc). End off yarn.
Color (B): Turn your work, begin in any stitch.
Round 3: Shdc in any st, 1 hdc in same st, *2 hdc in next st, repeat from * end with sl st to beg shdc. (40 hdc).
Round 4: Ch 1, turn, sl st in same st, *1 hdc in next st, sl st in next*, repeat *-* around, end with sl st to beg sl st. (20 hdc, 21 sl st). End off yarn.
Color (C): Turn your work, begin in any sl st from previous Round.
Round 5: Shdc in any sl st, sl st in next st, *1 hdc in next st, sl st in next*, repeat *-* around, sl st to top of beg shdc. (20 hdc, 21 sl st).
Round 6: Ch 1, turn, sl st in same st, *2 hdc in next , sl st in next st*, repeat *-* around to last st, 2 hdc in last st, sl st to top of beg sl st. (40 hdc, 21 sl st).
