Sweet Heart Coasters – Crochet Pattern
The Sweet Heart Coasters is a small project with a lot of impact. This heart contains interesting stitches including a little bit of Tunisian crochet, and the chain loop edging in two colors. If you have a lot of stash yarn, these are perfect to use some of that up! Easy for a beginner, yet fun for all skill levels. The results are stunning and are nice for Valentine’s Day, a wedding, anniversary, or any special occasion.

The Tunisian crochet section consists of only eight stitches, therefore, you can use a regular crochet hook. If you don’t have a Tunisian crochet hook, then you can still make these. The only thing that can be challenging is if your regular hook has a thumb grip of some sort, then you will probably need a Tunisian or a different hook. You can see the one I used in this photo.

This heart pattern offers two different edgings, the two color chain loop edging, and also a simple reverse single crochet edging. Both edgings have a separate video on how to make them. I’ve also made another video on how to make the coasters with the chain loop edging, see below for that. Shown here in the reverse single crochet edging.
