Beginner Twist Cup Cozy Free Knit Pattern
The beginner twist cup cozy is a free knit pattern design and is a great way to make something beautiful while learning how to knit. This fun knit and purl stitch design makes a reversible fabric, and looks great in solids or variegated yarns. You will love making this.

SEAM TWIST (see Video HERE)
In this video I’ll show you how to seam a twist on an ear warmer or headband. Follow these instructions to seam your cup cozy, it’s just smaller.
Watch video for demonstration on how to seam the twist HERE
Lay fabric out flat with RS facing up. Fold each end towards the center of the fabric. Then fold one end in half and next, fold the other end in half. Slide the two folded ends together and even out the stitches. It should have four edges lined up. Using the long tail from above, thread it on the yarn needle and sew the four edges together.
End off yarn, weave in ends. Turn fabric RS out.

If you like the look of the purl stitches, you can seam the twist so they are on the RS instead. Either way you decide to seam it, it looks great.
