Hairpin Lace Butterfly – Crochet Pattern
The beautiful little hairpin lace butterfly is here to welcome in Spring. This is fun to make, and a great little stash buster. Make one as a gift for someone special. Includes a crochet video to show you how to make it, scroll down for the pattern.

You can make the fringe tail as long or short as you like. The color possibilities are endless and they are fun to make in different yarn weights too. This can be a bunting, an ornament, decoration, or whatever you can imagine it to be! But for a bookmark, I prefer the fine weight yarns.
Can you see the hairpin lace? It’s in the center and then I crocheted around the entire piece to turn it into a butterfly. It’s Springtime, and I’m excited to see the butterflies in the yard and all the flowers popping up!
Do you love to read or know someone who does? This butterfly would make such a nice bookmark to go along with a book for someone special.
