Blizzard Beanie – Free Crochet Pattern
The Blizzard Beanie is a warm and fashionable hat for those cold days. Add some pretty faux fur to the brim for extra warmth and that on-trend look. The pom pom on top isn’t a traditional one and so easy to make. I hope you enjoy making this beanie. Scroll down for the free crochet pattern.

The yarn in this is by Yarnspirations, called Red Heart Chic Sheep by Marly Bird in the color Sangria. It calls for two strands of the yarn held together throughout. This makes it a little thicker, and a lot warmer!
The faux fur yarn is by Yarn Bee in the color Wolf. This didn’t take a lot of yardage at all. It is so soft and feels luxurious and really gives the beanie a high end look.
This beanie turned out almost how I had imagined, I love it when that happens. The only thing I changed was the pom pom. Originally I wanted a big, fluffy, store bought pom, but when it was time to add it I decided it was too much. I wanted a smaller pom, so I crocheted a few rounds of the fur and attached it to the top instead.
