This simple, yet interesting edging is easy to make. I’ll show you how to add it to a row end of double crochet stitches. Then I’ll demonstrate how to change colors with a standing single crochet stitch, and add a row of single crochet before you start the ribbed edging. That way, you’ll have several options for your project to choose from.
The video is in US terms only.
Tips:
- Refer to your pattern for stitch count and placement.
- Work the stitches in the back loop only (this forms the ribbed effect).
- You can add a row of single crochet before you start the ribbed edging, and use one color throughout.
- If you’re not sure where to start your first stitch, count back the number of stitches from the edge, and start your first stitch there.
