Crochet I-Cord
This Crochet I-cord combines Tunisian Crochet and regular Crochet stitching to make it. You can use a regular crochet hook to make it as you only have three stitches on your hook at the most.
Are you new to Tunisian crochet? Then you’ve come to the right place! I have a step-by-step beginner video to show you how to make the Tunisian Simple Stitch, click HERE for video.
There is a single crochet Tubular Crochet Rope video tutorial as well. Click HERE to learn that.
Tips:
- The tension is tricky to keep the same, be patient, take it out and redo when necessary.
- Use any size yarn and corresponding hook that you like. Size of yarn and hook will determine how thick your I-cord will be.
- Practice a few rows and then start your final project.
- A good technique to use for purse handles.
You will need the following supplies:
Any size yarn or thread you like, with corresponding hook size.
Size Super Bulky #6 weight and Hook in size J/6.00 mm are shown in the video.
