This is such a comfortable ear warmer to wear, and I love the look of the twist and the contrasting edge together.
This attractive twist is made by sewing the two edges together which is actually the seam. The rest of the ear warmer is seamless, yay. I try to design so there are no visible seams, whenever possible.
Here is a photo of the back of the ear warmer.
When I asked my daughter to help me name this one, she said it reminded her of sand. The name Boardwalk came to me and I went with that. I know a boardwalk isn’t the same color as the sand, but we have a boardwalk nearby, and the sand and ocean are located next to it. I’ll post some boardwalk photos on Instagram for you, so that’s how I named this one.

Notes:
1. Worked in Rows.
2. Use an Afghan/Tunisian crochet hook.
3. Do not turn, Right Side (RS) is always facing you.
4. The stitches are placed in the vertical bars and the horizontal chains, making the stitch count increase.
Additional Note: All Rows use the TSS, it’s just where you make the stitch, and how many. It’s a two row repeat, one row to increase the amount of stitches, and the next row to set up for the following increase row again. Please see video tutorial below or on YouTube for this specific stitch combination.
