An easy stitch pattern, with a fun design to it. Looks great hanging in the kitchen or bathroom too.
The pattern Crochet Rose Hand Towel is featured in the Cozy At Home Crochet Along, hosted by Marie of Underground Crafter. Get all the information and enter the giveway.
I used a cotton worsted weight yarn for this project. It’s nice to use up bits of colorful yarn for the roses that you have on hand. Add a button in the center if you like, it’s up to you.

Row 1: 1 dc in 6th ch from hook (counts as 1 dc, ch-2), *ch 2, sk 1 ch, 1 dc in next st*, repeat *-* across. (8 dc, 7 ch-2 sps).

SEAMING ROSE:
Start at the center of the flower, curl the petals around each other to form the flower. Using the tail and yarn needle, sew the flower together from the back. Sew a button to the center if desired. Leave a long tail for attaching to the towel. Repeat for all roses
ATTACH ROSE:
Lay the towel flat with RS facing up. Center roses 3 shells down from the top of panel, tack to towel. Using the individual tails, sew each rose to secure. Weave in ends.
HANGING THE TOWEL (See Photo tutorial):
Slide the panel behind your towel bar with RS of panel and roses facing you. The panel will slide in first. Bring the bottom of the towel up and over the towel bar. Then thread it through the panel opening from front to back. Pull towel down until the roses are at the front of the towel where you want them.
