In this video tutorial I’ll show you how to crochet the pretty Waistcoat Stitch. This stitch creates rows of little V’s and is also known as the knit stitch or center single crochet.
It’s an easy one row repeat to make a dish cloth, wash cloth or potholders. It also makes a nice edging worked in the round.
This stitch can be made with any size yarn and corresponding crochet hook. If the yarn is lighter weight, such as fine or DK, it will result in a smaller fabric, and if it is a bulky weight, it will result in a larger fabric. This is a worsted weight #4 yarn with a size J 6.00 mm crochet hook.
