Bold Lines Beanie Slouchy Hat – Free Crochet Pattern
The Bold Lines Beanie is a stylish on-trend hat with added texture in the fabric you create, and top it off with the faux fur pom pom to match. This beautiful hat is made using both regular crochet and Tunisian crochet stitches and the result makes it look like it is a knitted hat! Wow your friends and family with this crochet version of pretty stitching. Make these as a gift for someone special.

I love the look of combining crochet with Tunisian crochet stitches. The result is a fabulous fabric that will look like it’s knitted in some places, but then some areas do not.
I used the new Furls Tunisian crochet hook for this project. The yarn glides gently along the hook and is a pleasure to use. The two different woods are beautiful together.
It’s up to you if you want to add a faux fur pom-pom on top or not. I have a couple videos to show you how to make your own with fur fabric or fur yarn.
Make your own fur pom-pom with fur fabric or Make your own fur pom-pom with fur yarn.
Here is a look from the side of the hat. I love the texture these stitches make, and it doesn’t look like knit or crochet!
