Corner-To-Corner Ombre Throw – Free Crochet Pattern
The Corner-To-Corner Ombre Throw is here and I can tell you about my design and the new yarn from Red Heart Yarns. The pattern is a relaxing, repetitive stitch, while the yarn does all the work to make this pretty throw.

The yarn used in this Blanket is a new yarn from Red Heart Yarns called Super Saver Ombre in the color True Blue. We all love the Super Saver family, and this just adds another level of love to it. The color changes are long, and there is a lot of yardage between colors. They gently blend to the next color, making it a beautiful transition and a pretty blanket.
Each skein is 100% Acrylic, and is a generous 482 yards of Worsted Weight (#4) yarn. I used 5 skeins to make this throw, using a size “J” crochet hook. For the edging, I wanted it one color, so I designed it for a simple border that didn’t take a lot of yarn, to keep it all a similar color. Or you can make it ombre as well and let the colors flow, it’s up to you how you work with the colors.
The blanket measure 45 inches wide by 55 inches long.
The Corner-to-Corner stitch is a fun and rhythmic stitch to make. And it is really fun to watch the color changes and is quite addicting, making it hard to put down. It’s one of those, just one more row projects! I hope you give it a try if you’re new to the corner-to-corner technique, you will love it.
