A Lovely Walk

We recently took our car in for repairs and the mechanic had to keep it an extra day due to some issues he found. So instead of being the “Mom taxi” everyone had to walk the next day. When I was growing up, we either walked or rode our bikes everywhere, boy times have changed.
I decided to take my camera along with us as we ventured out a little early to get to school on time. It was actually a lovely walk and we found some beautiful flowers along the way. I don’t know all the names, but here are a few photos from that day. Hope you enjoy.

Lovely flowers and very good pictures. When I was a kid, all we did was walk to school and it was almost a mile….half the year in snow.
Hi Carmen! Yep, the kids are spoiled with their personal chauffeur everyday, but we enjoyed the walk for a change of pace. Half a year in snow, I don’t think we would make it 🙂
If you hadn’t of walked, you would have never noticed how glorious all those flowers were! We miss so much riding in cars. That is one beautiful walk to school you had!!
