What makes Tunisian crochet different from regular crochet is your hook is longer and carries the live loops, or stitches, on your hook like you do when knitting. One complete row is really a two row process which contains a Forward Pass and a Return Pass. This stitch is is easy, but does take some concentration to make.

Tips:
- The amount of beginning stitches may differ than shown in the video, refer to the individual pattern for the stitch count that you need to begin with.
- Use a larger hook than the yarn calls for to have some drape and prevent some curling on the edges.
- This stitch does curl a lot more than usual.
- Practice your tension for a few rows before you begin your project.
- When you have picked up all the stitches on your forward pass, count them to make sure you haven’t added any.
