Trending on the blog this week are beautiful crochet designs made with planned color pooling. Learn to make an argyle design or a color stacking design using variegated yarn and a simple stitch. The Moss Stitch is the most common, but you can also use other stitches to create the effect as well.
These designers have created the designs using specific stitch counts with a specific yarn. It’s really a technique you need to learn as well as studying the yarn and how the colors change in the sequence. Once you get the hang of it, it is very addicting and it’s super fun to watch the magic happen as you crochet along. The yarn really does make it look harder than it is. You may have to tighten or loosen you tension to keep it working. I hope you’ll give it a try and are inspired to get your hooks out.
I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll want to make here. I hope you will link up your finished projects to The Linky Ladies Party once you’re done, we’d love to see it!
