Supplies:
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver & Super Saver Ombre,100% acrylic
Color (A): White (1 skein)
Color (B): Sea Coral (small amount of 1 skein)
Hook: 5.00 mm [US H / 8]
Pillow Form: Fairfield Poly-Fil Basic Pillow Insert 12″ x 16″
Yarn Needle
Gauge: 14 rows and 12 sc sts = 4 inches

Terminology
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st(s) – stitch(es)
Notes:
Tapestry crochet is done by carrying two colors of yarn, using the indicated color for each stitch while crocheting over the secondary color.
Each square in the chart represents one single crochet stitch. Work back and forth in rows as normal, carrying the unused color up each row.
I added the coral on Row 9, and ended it off at Row 33. This is the section that makes the word Joy, see chart below.
- Worked bottom up in rows, turn after each row.
- Follow chart below.
- Make 2 panels, seam them together.
- Make sc sts going through front & back loops throughout.
INSTRUCTIONS
Color (A) – Make 2 panels
Ch 56
Row 1: Ch 1, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each st across. (55 sc).
Rows 2-8: Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each st across. (55 sc).
Rows 9-33: See chart below for color changes. Add Color (B).
Rows 34-45: Repeat Row 2. (Added 5 rows of white at the end of the chart).
End off yarn, weave in ends.
Seaming:
Place both pieces together, with RS facing out. Match up stitches, place 1 sc through both pieces in each stitch around, placing 2 sc in corners, for 3 sides, insert pillow form, continue sc sts on last side to the beginning sc, sl st to beg sc st. End off yarn, weave in ends.
