Simple Spa Cloth Collection #15 – Tunisian Crochet Pattern
The Simple Spa Cloth Collection is designed to make beautiful matching cloths using Tunisian crochet stitches. This is a good way to learn a new stitch while repeating it. This fifteenth cloth in the collection and features the simple stitch, which results in a beautiful fabric that resembles knitting on one side, but not on the other. It’s easy to make, but looks difficult. Make them as a gift for someone special.

I recommend to start off by making the wash cloth first. That way you can make one from beginning to end and feel accomplished right away. Next, move onto the large cloth to complete the set.
This spa set is made by using the Tunisian Simple Stitch. I love the result of this stitch with the rows of vertical lines on the front.
I’m out of town caring for my Mom and found a lovely fabric store that had all kinds of wonderful craft supplies and yarns. They also had wonderful soaps which I bought this white gardenia bar, which smells heavenly. To make your own soap tutorial click HERE.
Grab your neck pillow, spa cloths, soaps, and head to the tub for some relaxation.
This yarn has sections of a scrubby textured yarn and a smooth cotton in others. The simple stitch is an excellent choice to let the yarn do all the work and make it look very textured.
Here is a look at the back of the cloth below. It makes a beautiful and somewhat rustic looking fabric.
