Mini Flower Scrubbie – Free Crochet Pattern
The crochet Mini Flower Scrubbie is a fun and quick project to brighten up your home. Can be used as a spa scrubbie or a kitchen scrubbie, it works great for either one. Use up extra yarn you have on hand, and makes a great addition to any handmade gift.

Shown in Sugar’n Cream yarn, but any worsted weight, #4 cotton yarn will do that you have in your stash.

For best results read through the entire pattern, and study photos, before starting the pattern.
Skill Level: Easy
Finished Measurement: 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches
Supplies:
Yarn: Sugar’N Cream, Worsted Weight #4
Color A – Off White (7 yards), Color B – Hot Green (3 yards), Color C – Rose Pink (3 yards)
Hook: 5.00 mm [US H]
Yarn needle
Abbreviations in US Terminology:
beg – beginning
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
Special Stitches And Placement:
ssc – standing single crochet: with slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated stitch, yo, pull through, 2 loops on hook, yo, pull through both loops on hook.
Notes:
1. Worked in the Round.
2. Do not turn, Right Side (RS) is always facing you.
3. Stitch counts are in parenthesis ( ) at the end of rounds.
INSTRUCTIONS
Color (A) – Place slip knot on hook.
Ch 5, sl st to beg ch to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join with sl st to beg sc. (10 sc).
Round 2: *Ch 3, skip 1 st, sl st in next st*, repeat *-* around. (5 ch-3 sps).
Note: Work into skipped sts of Round 1, rotating Round 2 ch-3s forward, out of the way.
Round 3: Ch 1, *4 hdc in skipped st of Round 1*, repeat *-* around, join with sl st to top of hdc. (20 hdc).
Round 4: Ch 1, *2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st*, repeat *-* around, end with st st to top of beg hdc. (30 hdc).
Round 5: Ch 1, 1sc in each st around, sl st to beg sc. (30 sc). End off yarn.
Color (B) – with sl st on hook
Round 6: Ssc in any st, 1 sc in next 2 sts, *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 3 sts*, repeat *-* around, end with 1 sc in last 2 sts, 1 sc in same st as beg st, sl st to beg sc. (38 sc). End off yarn.
Petals:
Color (C) – with sl st on hook.
Working around ch-3 sps of Round 2:
Sl st in any ch-3 sp, *[1 hdc, 3 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sl st in ch-3 sp], sl st in next ch-3 sp*, repeat *-* in all 5 ch-3 sps, end with sl st to beg st of 1st petal. End off yarn, weave in all ends.
