Lovely Flowers

Purple Orchids I found at the grocery store. The color is SO vivid!
Hi Friends,
I’ve been meaning to update my site with some of the flower photographs I’ve taken the past few months. I post them on my Facebook page every Monday, (or try to) and wanted to share them with you all. “Have a great week” is the caption I use, but here I wanted to go into more detail about where and why I took these photos. Hope you enjoy…

Leaving work one day last summer, it was about 100 degrees outside. I saw this pretty flower and snapped a shot, I think it turned out amazing! This is one of my favorite pictures.

Lovely fern I bought for our backyard. I love the delicate and airy look of it, reminds me of lace.

Here are some Dahlia’s we got at the Farmer’s Market one day and a shawl that I was working on at the time – looks so pretty together.

On vacation last summer, these succulents were everywhere.

This succulent was at the vacation house we rented.

Some Fall flowers I bought at the store one day, preparing for Halloween.

This was taken outside the Hospital after taking my daughter to get an X-ray of her ankle. It’s really bad when they recognize you there! She’s ok, but really swollen and sprained. I love the color of this Bougainvillea.

The morning after our first rain in a while, walking to the soccer field we noticed a huge rose bush filled with these beauties. You can still see the raindrops.

This is a flower made out of glass plates and a vase. We got this at the Farmer’s Market last summer. A permanent flower in our garden.

Walking into the grocery store one day we saw this lovely flower arrangement right by the entrance. What a nice display, I love roses & lilies.

This was the floral centerpiece at a friend’s Quinceanera recently. Her colors were lavender and silver. It was a gorgeous arrangement and was 3 feet tall. This is the top and it had a base of flowers around the bottom. One of the best parties ever!
I find inspiration and joy in photographing flowers. Flowers are one of my favorite things, so it makes me happy to capture them.
Thanks for reading!
Have a great day!
Carolyn 🙂
