Friendship Granny Square – Free Crochet Pattern
The Friendship Granny Square has a flower center that expands into a circle and then turns into a square. This twelve inch square features lots of texture made with popcorns, puff stitches and post stitches to give it this effect. There is a video tutorial to go along with the free crochet pattern.

Make it in a solid color or in several colors, either way, it will look great. The first nine rounds of this granny square will result in a slight wave in the design, and should flatten out in round ten and beyond. This will not lay flat when complete as the flower center is raised.
This crochet pattern is part of the FATW Crochet-Along. I’m very excited to be part of this wonderful group and talented designers from around the world.
