Entrelac Essentials Bag – Tunisian Crochet Pattern
The Entrelac Essentials Bag is a small project with a lot of impact. This purse contains interesting stitches including Tunisian entrelac crochet, regular crochet, and the beautiful crochet rope handle. The results are a stunning chevron design made in the round and includes video tutorials. It’s easy to make, but looks difficult, is a great stash buster, easy for a beginner, yet fun for all skill levels.

I used three colors for this little purse, making two rounds of each color. You could also change color each round if you prefer. A few of my springtime blooms just opened and they look so pretty next to the bag on the counter.
This is made in the Tunisian Simple Stitch. I love the rows of boxes that it makes. If you’re new to this stitch I have a video to show you how to make this stitch.
I love the crochet rope handle too, it is made in the round in a tubular fashion. I have a video on this as well, even though the stitching is simple, it’s where you put your hook that makes all the difference.
