Daisy Flower Keychain
The Daisy Flower Keychain is a fun flower to make and add to your keychain. Made using simple crochet stitches in just a few short rounds. Make these as gifts or keep one for yourself.
Supplies
- Omega Nylon #18, Yellow 5 yards, White 9 ½ yards
- Hook – Size F
- Key ring – any size
- Jump ring – small size
- Tapestry Needle for weaving in the ends
- Bead or Button
Guage: Finished flower 3 1/2” x 3 1/2”
Abbreviations:
sl st – slip stitch, ch – chain, sc – single crochet, hdc – half double crochet
Instructions:
Row 1: Ch 5, join with a sl st to form a ring.
Row 2: Ch 1, 10 sc in ring, sl st to beg ch 1. (10 sc).
Row 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in ea st around, sl st to top of beginning ch 3. (20 dc). Do not end off yellow, join white nylon.
Row 4: Ch 7 (counts as first sc and 6 ch), sc in 2nd ch from hook *ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook* around, sl st to beg ch 1. (10 spaces).
Row 5: ch 1, *2 sc, 3hdc, 2 sc, in ch 6 space, 1 sc wrapped around sc from Row 4*, repeat around, sl st to beginning sc. Fasten off, weave in ends. (10 petals).
Key ring: Pick up yellow nylon from Row 3, ch 25, end off, leaving long tail. Slide jump ring onto thread, sl st ch back to flower, add key ring to jump ring. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Embellish: add a bead or button to the center of the flower.
