Timeless Boho Shawlette
Skill Level: Intermediate
Size: One size fits most.
Measurements: 64 inches long by 11 inches wide.
Supplies:
Yarn: Red Heart Treasure: Color – Watercolors (2 skeins)
Yarn weight: WW #4, 300 yards
Hook: 8.00 mm [US L-11]
Yarn needle
Stitch Marker (1)
Button (1) – 40 mm; 1 9/16 inches
Gauge: 5 rows, and 2 dc clusters plus 2 ch 2 sps = 4 inches
Abbreviations: In US Terminology
ch – chain
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
st(s) – stitch(es)
Special Stitches & Placement:
Cluster:
3 dc in ch 2 space from previous row.
Notes:
1. Start with the longest row and decrease every row after that, worked top down.
2. Edging is worked around entire shawl in one continuous round.

Pattern Starts Here
Instructions:
Using L hook-
Row 1: Fsc 178 (OR Ch 179, turn, skip 1 ch, 1 sc in each st across. (178 sc).
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sl st in 2nd st from hook, 1 sc in next st, *ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 dc in next 3 sts*, repeat *-* across to last 5 sts, ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 sc in next st, 1 sl st in next st, leave last st unworked. (35 ch 2 sps, 34 dc clusters).
Row 3: ch 1, turn, sl st in next st, [2 sc, 1 hdc in ch 2 sp], *ch 2, skip 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp*, repeat *-* across to last ch 2 sp, ch 2, [1 hdc, 2 sc in last ch 2 sp], 1 sl st in next st, leave last st unworked. (34 ch 2 sps, 33 dc clusters).
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, skip 1 st, 1 sl st in next st, [2 sc, 1 hdc in ch 2 sp],*ch 2, skip 3 sts, 3 dc in next ch 2 sp* repeat *-* across to last ch 2 sp, ch 2, [1 hdc, 2 sc in last ch 2 sp], 1 sl st in next st, leave last st unworked. (33 ch 2 sps, 32 dc clusters).
Row 5-14: Repeat Row 4. Last Row st count (23 ch 2 sps, 22 dc clusters).
Edging:
Round 15: ch 1, turn, skip 1 st, 1 sl st in next st, place stitch marker in next st, *3 sc in ch 2 sp, 1 sc in next 2 sts*, repeat *-* to end of row. Continue up side with 1 sc in each st to corner, 6 sc in corner, 1 sc in each st across top to other corner, 6 sc in corner, 1 sc in each st on other side to beginning sc where stitch marker is.
Embelish: (optional)
Sew button of choice to one edge of the shawlette.
End off yarn, weave in ends.
