Spring Break - Week in Review #6

Lake - April 2014

Hi friends,

Where has this year gone?! We just finished up Spring Break and we had a wonderful time at the lake. It was so nice to get away from the city and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the trees, mountains and lake. I even ran across a yarn store. Imagine my surprise in the car when I saw the sign (how can you miss it), practically jumping out of my seat, begging my husband to turn around and drop me off. He did, and I ended up getting two local handspun yarns there. I also started my second purse design on the road trip.

I love the pictures on this blog. A trip is always more fun when you can shop too!

Hi Carmen, thank you so much! It was fun to find the yarn shop. I found some unusual yarn there that was spun from a local artist. I got one brown skein, and one hot pink with multiple yarn types all spun together.
