For the month of June I shared five photos on my Facebook page. Here is the story behind the photo, hope you enjoy…
These peach roses pictured above are called Brandy. I’ve had them for years and they make large, fragrant blooms. Peach is one of my favorite colors and that’s why I picked this rose. We found the driftwood in the background when we went to the beach to experiment with my friends camera last month. It dropped some sand in front of the roses and it looks like glitter. I photographed these flowers with my Vintage Rose Pillowcases and the Vintage Fan Crocheted Edging Pattern.
Isn’t this a beautiful setting pictured above? We were at a cupcake shop and they had this cute sitting area with the purple couch and distressed white coffee table. I love all these colors together and the comfortable feeling it has. My son wanted to know why I was taking a photo of these flowers, but even though they are on their last leg, they are still pretty to me. The cupcakes were delicious and we celebrated my daughter’s birthday there.
This was the first bloom of my Agapanthus plant this year. These look like they’re going to explode open at any moment! I love this color of purple and they are easy to grow, yeah. They are just beautiful.
This little flower reminds me of a Hibiscus flower, but I don’t know the official name of it. The plant is very hardy, almost like a weed, with pretty miniature Hibiscus looking blooms. They are small in size, and vibrant. I photographed these flowers with my Island Breeze Bag.
We were hosting a team garage sale one weekend for my daughter’s soccer team, and I came across this beautiful Bougainvillea growing up the arbor and along the roof of a house. The sky was really blue that day and as the sun was going down behind us it made pretty shadows on the house.
I hope you enjoyed the June flowers as much as I did!
Thank you for reading.
Have a great day,
