Lovely Flowers – May
For the month of May I shared four floral photos on my Facebook page.  Here is the story behind the photo, hope you enjoy…
Bougainvillea are so vibrant and pretty, but those thorns, yikes!  I would love to have some but don’t like the thorns.  I do enjoy them from afar and they come in such pretty colors!  These were taken by my daughter who rediscovered her love of photography recently when a friend lent me his Canon camera.  We went to the yarn store and then the beach.  She took over 200 pictures that day, here are a few more from her eye!
I’m taking a picture of her while she’s taking a picture of this really pretty green plant!
Yellow flowers growing out of the sand, literally.
My daughter & I were at the Farmer’s Market one day and we bought these pretty white flowers, they last up to two weeks!  They feel almost like paper or straw to the touch. They did last a long time 🙂 I love how they look with this background.
Â
This purple Statice flower with the green grass behind it is one of my favorite photographs. Â I was with my son at the park one day and during his training I hiked around and took lots of pictures. Â I absolutely love this one! Â And there are some more below too.
Is this a weed or a flower?  Either way, I still think it looks pretty against the rocks 🙂
Bird of Paradise – doesn’t it look like a bird’s head? Â I love the color of orange in these, so vibrant! Â I was working one day at a client and these were outside their office. Â There were hummingbirds all around them and it was just gorgeous. Â I wish I could’ve gotten one in a photo, but they were quick and turned out blurry every time. Â It was a nice way to start my work day though, with a nice greeting of flowers and hummingbirds.Â
I hope you enjoyed the May flowers as much as I did!
Thank you for reading.
