This shawl is versatile in the way you can wear it, as a shawl with the ends in front, or wrapped around your neck like a scarf, or with a brooch on one side. You can change the look of it by the way you wear it.
Recently, I grabbed my sun hat and my shawl and went to the park for a walk. The sun was beaming down in the center of this bench. It looked so nice, so I put my hat down with the shawl draped around it, and wha-la.
The yarn I used is from Red Heart and is called It’s A Wrap – Sprinkles in the color Blueberry Tart, the colors in this are lovely. The top of the shawl begins with a pretty light blue, and changes to a darker blue with an orange/rust color. The beautiful turquoise pops in, and ends with the brown edging. The yarn has “sprinkles” of other colors throughout and does all the color work for you! This is perfect to wear any time of year.
This is an easy two row repeat for the main section of the shawl, followed by a larger lace area, and finishing with the final edging.

Sometimes I get in “color” moods and I’ll wear the color, use that color yarn and crochet hook, and polish my nails with a similar color too. This week is all about warm, feel good colors in beige, blue, turquoise, and rust. My crochet hook matches the yarn perfectly, lol.
