Tunisian Chain Loops
This is a fun to make stitch combination and is made during the return pass.
In this crochet video tutorial, you will learn how to make the chain loops on the return pass and pick up your stitches by alternating rows on the forward pass in Tunisian Simple Stitch and Tunisian Purl Stitch.
Here is a Tunisian Spa Cloth using this stitch combination:
Tips:
- In this video, I’m using a different stitch count, please see individual patterns for exact stitch counts.
- Chain loops are stacked on top of each other in this demonstration, you could also stagger them.
- The chain loops are in sets of 6 chains, you can make them smaller or bigger by changing the number of chains.
- I used a size K/6.5mm hook for a larger visual of where to put your hook.
You will need the following supplies:
Any size yarn you like, with corresponding hook size.
Yarn in size #4 worsted weight and Furl’s Tunisian Crochet Hook in size K/6.50 mm are shown in the video.
