Simple Spa Cloth Collection #11 – Tunisian Crochet Pattern
The Simple Spa Cloth Collection is designed to make beautiful matching cloths using the Tunisian simple stitch. This is a good way to learn new stitches while repeating the stitches. This eleventh cloth in the collection features increasing and decreasing in this one, which results in a beautiful fabric. It’s easy to make, but looks difficult. Make these as a gift for someone special.

This Spa Cloth set is made with the Tunisian simple stitch, with an increase on the forward pass, and a slightly different decreasing return pass. This is a two row repeat and so fun to make, the results are stunning. I don’t know if this stitch combination has an official name, but if I find one later, I’ll add it in.
While at home during the quarantine, my daughter and I made our first batch of rose soaps. It was fun as we experimented with colors and rose petals. You can check out the video tutorial here.
The beautiful white and mint flower soaps below are handmade by a friend of mine. They are gorgeous soaps and smell really nice.
If you’re new to the Tunisian simple stitch, I have a crochet video tutorial on that stitch. I also have a video on this particular stitch combination as well. I love the result of this with the rows of vertical clusters on the front, and a mesmerizing back.
Here is a look at the back of both cloths below. It has rows of knots going across and I’m not sure which side I like better, the front or the back. This variegated yarn really gives it a dramatic look, and appears way more difficult than it is.
