Love Knot Poncho is a very lacy and delicate looking cover up. This open lace work is made in the Love Knot or Solomon’s Knot and is finished off with a beautiful shell border. It’s made with basic crochet stitches, and includes a video and step by step tutorial on this stitch. Scroll down for the free crochet pattern.

This fresh design is made in the Love Knot stitch and finished off with a pretty shell border. Great to wear with casual clothes, at the beach as a cover up, or dressy enough for a wedding.
Love is in the air seemed like a fitting name for this since it’s made in the Love Knot stitch. Plus it’s Springtime and everything is blooming… love is definitely in the air!
The yarn and hook were provided for this project by Furl’s Crochet. The yarn is Whims Merino and I used the Odyssey Hook in turquoise and rose gold. Each hank of yarn comes in this beautiful silk bag, and is a pleasure to crochet with. The hook is a new favorite too!
I love the drape in this yarn, it is fantastic in this stitch. The yarn has a lot of give and so does the stitch, it will stretch out with wear.
It’s easy to customize the size to fit your body. This is made width-wise so you can adjust your starting numbers if needed (see chart below). Then keep crocheting for the length, going around your body until desired fit. Seam the top of the shoulder and add the edging.
