Unexpected Fun!
What a wonderful day at the beach! You wouldn’t think so in January, but I love the beach during the winter. It is so peaceful and relaxing, it’s usually deserted, only you and the birds.  The cool breeze on my face, the smell of the ocean and the sand, I love it! I really miss the beach having grown up there most of my life.
We met up with about 150 other people (I know, I said deserted – but it usually is) for soccer pictures. We were only supposed to be there for one hour, but you know how it is taking photos with girls. It took forever and then the coaches decided to throw in a practice afterwards. So meanwhile, I strolled along the shore, enjoying every minute. I took several pictures of the beautiful scenery. I really enjoy photography although I’m an amateur. Here are some photos from that unexpected fun day at the beach. I can’t wait to go back!

Fabulous pictures Carolyn 🙂 I wish we lived closer to our lakes here – I used to live close to Lake Ontario and then close to Lake Erie – now we are hours from each of them – there is something calming and rejuvenating hearing the water moving and the fresh air close to the water 🙂 What a lovely day!
