Summertime Crochet Patterns
Summertime is here and it’s time to celebrate with some gorgeous crochet patterns for you to make. Some easy, some a little more advanced, some free, some in magazines. There’s something for everyone. Enjoy!Â
Featured here are some beautiful patterns that you can pick from, jewelry, accessories, a shawl, a bikini, and some gift ideas. Most of these are small projects that use light weight materials which is nice to work with on those hot summer days. I’ve also included a scrap yarn blanket, for those chilly summer nights.
I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll have to make. Â I hope you will link up your finished projects to The Linky Ladies Community Party once you’re done, we’d love to see it! Â

Barefoot Sandals – Free Pattern. Made with thread and beads (optional) is a good starter project if you’re new to thread crochet. It’s a small project that you can finish quickly.Â
Coral Bikini for Interweave Crochet. This is made with Sinfonia cotton, another quick project, and is available in Interweave Crochet, Summer 2016 issue.
Flowers in Bloom for Interweave Crochet. This earring and necklace set are made with thread and beads. It’s on the intermediate side and available in Interweave Crochet, Spring 2016 issue.
Recycled Jar Cozy – Free pattern. Made with #18 nylon thread, or you can substitute WW #4. These make great gifts and can be used as a vase or candle votive (I use the flameless candles).
Corner to Corner Scrap Yarn Blanket – Free pattern. This is a great way to use up leftover yarn, I’ve held two strands together for extra warmth and to use up as much yarn as possible. Those summer nights can get chilly. Links to videos too!
Island Breeze Bag – Free pattern. Made with fabric yarn, this bag works up quickly.Â
Summer of Love Shawl – for Red Heart Yarns. This is one of my favorite designs, made with the love knot and a scalloped edge. I designed this to wear on vacation at the beach.Â
Sparkle Hoop Earrings – Free pattern. These pretty earrings are made with Embroidery thread, and there are SO many colors to choose from! Make them in all your favorite colors, another quick project for you.
Hope you find something to make over the Summer here! Happy crocheting 🙂
Have a great day!
