Project Sweet Peas – blanket & hat set donations

Every month, a group of very talented and giving ladies coordinate together and make crocheted items for donation. Behind the scenes there are numerous emails, suggestions and voting going on. Then there’s the pattern suggestions and posting of photos with an item count and then mailing them off. For me, it is the best feeling walking out of the post office after I’ve mailed my items.   I wonder who will be the recipient and hoping they’ll like it.  If you’re looking for a great group to give back, please check us out at Elk From The Heart. July was designated for Project Sweet Peas and hosted by Maria of Pattern Paradise. She collected 135 hats and 33 blankets, WOW! That is the most we’ve collected so far. I’m so happy I’m able to be a part of it. I made three blanket & hat sets.  The first two are my own designs, using my Mini Granny Blanket & Hat set pattern.  Click here for pattern.
