Pineapple Lace Summer Top
I had purchased this yarn during the LA Yarn Crawl a few months ago, and was planning on making a different sweater with it. But when I found this pattern on Ravelry, I wanted to make this top with the yarn instead. I really love the color and it has a pretty sheen to it. It is an all cotton yarn, and works up nicely. This will make a nice bathing suit cover up for the summer.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks around here. The kids have been incredibly busy with last minute school projects, studying for finals, awards banquets, and year-end parties. Besides all of that, I didn’t have access to my website for over a week, I was really freaking out. I guess when you get those notices that say you have updates, you really need to update!
Here are some photos of Memorial Day weekend, me and my daughter went to the Patchwork Show in Long Beach. We got to ride the trolley, (I didn’t even know we had a Trolley), it was the highlight of the day!
Thanks for reading!
Have a great day!

Hi Kathy, thank you so much!! It was fun to make. Have a great day 🙂
Love the top and it will look great on you. I didn’t know L.B. had a trolley either. I like trolley tours when I visit new places.
Hi Carmen, thank you so much! We had the best time riding the trolley. It took us to the yacht club and it was so beautiful outside that day. We actually lucked out and parked close to the show but the driver let us just go for the ride. Have a good day! 🙂
