I’ve always admired flowers and plants, and over time, I’ve become so fond of the succulents that are available and popular in our area now. This one was spotted when we went out to dinner recently. As we were walking to the restaurant, I saw this pretty plant in a pot on the sidewalk. Everyone stopped and waited while I took a couple of pictures. And then on the way out, I took a couple more just to be sure I got a good one!
This orange rose is gorgeous and is full of petals. I love the color and how full it is. I found this one at the grocery store. Somehow I always end up looking through the flower section, not on purpose, it just happens. My cart just ends up there somehow.
I love the shape of this flower, it makes a nice circle! The yellow center just pops out, and I love the colors pink and green together.
This pretty burgundy flower is the sure sign of Fall. When you see Chrysanthemums in all the stores, you know it’s here. The yellow center is so fabulous in this, it reminds me of a honeycomb. That green spider mum in the background is one of my all time favorite flowers. This is almost like a pink and green color combination, only in extreme shades.
This pretty orange flower was spotted at the dime store when my daughter and I went out for a bit. As she was looking at the make up, I saw all these fabric flowers in with the make up displays. It was very festive, so I started taking pictures. There was a light behind the side panel on this one and it kind of glows and appears to be a painted picture instead of a photograph. I love the colors and the leaves and berries in it too.
That’s all for the October Flowers of the Month. Looking forward to sharing with you what flowers I find next time. Here is a pretty Gladiola picture from last month. Click Here to read my September Flowers of the Month, and see all the featured flower finds!
