I just love these green succulents. They look like flowers, but are so hardy and drought resistant and this shade of green is one of my favorites too. I found these while we were getting photos of one of my hat designs out by the bay. These were in a pot and just overflowing with beauty.
This beautiful Azalea plant was spotted while visiting a local yarn store. They were having a yarn event, and just outside we came upon this pretty flowering shrub. I love the color of the building behind it and it makes the hot pink flowers just pop out.
My husband and I were at the local hardware store recently, and this display of Chrysanthemums was out in front of the store. It is a beautiful display of Fall colors and flowers. It was the classic outing with me where I always stop and photograph flowers around me.
I recently found this pretty peach colored Hibiscus while out for a walk. I would love to enjoy these flowers in a vase, but they do not last long after you cut them. I’ve tried before and they look nice for the first day, but the next day they roll themselves up and do not open again.
These yellow daisies with the burgundy centers are so vibrant! I found these at the nursery when I visited there earlier this year. It was early in the morning, and these were looking so cheery in the sunlight.
This gorgeous Dinner Plate Dahlia is a beautiful shade of pink and is the first bloom from my new plant. Last year, I replanted my yard with the help of my kids and some of their friends. This is one of the bulbs that they helped me plant and I’m so happy to see the first blooms! These were also a favorite flower of my Great Grandma Mom, she was known in her neighborhood for having the largest Dinner Plate Dahlia’s in the area.
That’s all for the November Flowers of the Month. Looking forward to sharing with you what flowers I find next time. Here is a pretty Rose picture from last month. Click Here to read my October Flowers of the Month, and see all the featured flower finds!
