March Flowers Of The Month
It’s time for Flowers of the Month. Every Monday I share a flower picture on my Facebook and Instagram page, and featured this month are purple Tulips, hot pink Carnations, a light green Succulent, a bright orange and yellow Rose, White Jade flowers, and hot pink Bougainvillea. Here is the story behind these beauties, hope you enjoy…

I’ve grown to love the look of these succulents over the last few years. This little beauty was in a flower pot at the photo shoot of my Timeless Boho Shawlette. As we walked around the canals, we ended up sitting down to enjoy the scenery and take a rest. I looked over and next to us was a huge flower pot with a bunch of these in there. I love the shape of the petals with the pink edges. Pink and green are a favorite combination of mine.
Next is a beautiful rose from a wedding we attended recently. I was going crazy over all the pretty flowers they had. These roses were in all the arrangements, including on the cakes. We were offered the huge, I mean huge, center piece from the head table, but we couldn’t fit it in the car to bring it home! We did receive a smaller arrangement that I enjoyed taking apart and photographing and will be sharing more of them soon. The bright yellow centers turning into this deep orange is striking!
The cakes looked beautiful, and they tasted great too. Each one a different flavor.
Look at these gorgeous, deep purple tulips. This shade of purple is one of my favorites. I found these at the grocery store, all bunched up together looking so pretty!
My daughter’s boyfriend had given me a Joann’s gift card for Christmas, so I bought this pretty watering can with it. The can alone is pretty, and I’m really enjoying using it for watering and in my photos too. I paired it with some hot pink carnations that was part of the bouquet from my daughter. It says Spring to me.
The pretty flowers from my daughter, love!
This next flower is a Jade Plant, part of the succulent family. The flowers are SO tiny, you can’t tell from the photo how small they are. If you look closely at the top left flower, you can see two little ants in the center of it. I didn’t notice them until I got home. You can gauge how small these are from that, and look how pretty when you zoom in and take a closer look. They have a double flower to them, the very center and then the five long, pointy petals coming out around it. Reminds me of a star, just gorgeous!
The last flower for March is this beautiful hot pink Bougainvillea. This plant was knocked over from some high winds we had. Most of the vine was on the ground, but it was still a giant mound of pretty flowers. Looking at it and then looking up to the sky, I thought it was a pretty take on it. Hope you enjoy.
That’s all for my March Flowers of the Month. Looking forward to sharing with you next month what beauties I’ve come upon. Here is a pretty flower find from last month, colorful pink flowers. Click Here to read my February Flowers of the Month, and see all the featured flower finds!
