For the month of April I shared four floral photos on my Facebook page. Here is the behind the photo story, hope you enjoy…
Succulents have quickly become one of my favorite plants. When we were on vacation last summer we saw lots of succulents everywhere. I’ve never really seen them up close before, or been exposed to so many different varieties, and fell in love with their colors, textures, and hardiness! They don’t need a lot of water so they are great for adding color to your yard without having to water them a lot.
These Begonias are so pretty. I love the pink petals with gold centers! My daughter & I were going to the Farmer’s Market one day and these little beauties were in the parking lot. I had to stop and take a couple of pictures.
Is it real or fake? My daughter & I went to the Paint Festival for one of her classes. It was a great event, messy, but fun. There were live bands, booths, food, and lots of color, everywhere! This Water Lily was in a bowl of water in one of the booths. The guy said I could take pictures of it and asked me why I wanted to take pictures of a fake flower! I would’ve never known if he hadn’t told me he bought it at Michael’s. It still had the tag on it too. It is gorgeous even if it is a fake flower!
The Double Delight Rose is one of my favorite flowers. My husband gave me this rose bush many years ago. I wish I could add the fragrant smell for you too! Pick a few of these and your whole room will smell good. This was one of the first blooms of Spring this year. The colors are incredible, I just love it.
I hope you enjoyed the April flowers as much as I did!
Thank you for reading.
