Flower Finds – January
For the month of January I shared some flower finds on my Facebook page. Â Here is the story behind the them, hope you enjoy…
Pictured here are some flowers that I picked up at the store and don’t know the exact name. I think they’re so pretty with the small, delicate flowers and I like the way the flower buds look like berries before they open. Such a soft color of pink. My kids were with me when I picked them out, and they didn’t agree with my selection. It was a long discussion in the flower department.

Look what I found growing in my yard…Paper Whites, they smell so good. I don’t remember planting these, but to my surprise and delight, here they are!
Next I shared a pretty succulent plant that my Mom has growing. Â The foliage is a shade of purple with these bright orange flower sprigs coming out. It is a vibrant plant! We visited her in December and I had to get a photo of this little beauty. She loves flowers as much as I do!Â
After the holidays, my daughter and I spotted these big, pretty plants while out shopping. They were so pretty lined up outside the stores, with they’re burgundy colored leaves against the greenery. Â
A pretty carnation just starting to open and some pretty yarn to go with it.
A Hyacinth plant that is planted in a vase with water instead of a tradition pot with soil. I had to buy this! The flower will be pink when it blooms, I can’t wait!
I hope you enjoyed my flower finds as much as I did.

SO beautiful! Thank you for doing these flower posts, they really brighten my day. 🙂
I was thinking of stopping in December, and then when I saw the flowers at my Mom’s, I thought I would do it one more week. I kept seeing more pretty flowers so I just kept taking more pictures and posting them. So, I guess I’ll keep it up until I run out of flowers. Thanks for your lovely comment.
