February Flower: Double Delight Rose
This week I’m featuring one of my favorites roses, the Double Delight! I’ll share the flower picture on my Facebook and Instagram page on Monday. On the blog is the story behind these beauties, hope you enjoy.

I spent the day in the garden over the weekend, pulling weeds, raking leaves and trimming back the rose bushes. I didn’t plan on spending hours in the yard, but one thing led to another, and now it looks great. Ready for Spring bulbs to be planted and maybe a new plant to spruce it up a bit. I just need to feed my roses and I’m ready for a Spring garden.
I found these two little Double Delight roses, the last of the season, before I cut it back. I couldn’t throw them away so in my little vase they went. For now, I can enjoy these pretty flowers and look forward to another season of them. I love the off-white, yellow centers with the red edges. Their fragrance is heavenly too.
