Easy DC Scarf
This is an easy scarf to make using double crochet. The center is made first and then you continue around the outside to make the border. This would also look nice in a variegated yarn or using two colors for contrast. It makes up in a couple of hours and makes a soft, cozy gift.

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing such a great pattern!
I am wondering, the 109 yds, is that the size of the ball of Yarn, or is that the total needed for the scarf? I am trying to work with Stash Yarn, and want to be sure I have enough. No yarn Store close, so I am stuck with Walmart, or Mail Order.
Thank you Kathy! Glad you like it. It would go well with your Simply Slouchy Hat. I have my eye on that as one of my next projects. 🙂
Becky, the 109 yards is the yardage in one skein of Loops & Threads Charisma yarn. I used two skeins with just a very small amount, a couple yards maybe, leftover. Total yards needed is approximately 218. Hope this helps.
Hmmm…. That’s a great idea!
Thank you so much this is so lovely
Simona, you’re welcome, glad you like it 🙂
Can I just say that I love your dressform’s lacy adornments! Thanks for the pattern.
Thank you Marie! These are doilies that my Great Grandma made and I draped them over the dressform. There is another picture in this post too. https://www.thepurpleponcho.com/throw-back-thursday-pineapples/ Thanks for stopping by 🙂
