Crocheted Cross Bookmark
I was inspired to make a crocheted cross bookmark for my father-in-laws 80th birthday party. It was a surprise party and there were about 20 relatives there. We met in beautiful Newport Beach at John Wayne’s boat for a fabulous dinner cruise, dancing, card playing, and just relaxing. Everyone had a wonderful time and the evening was beautiful. So what do you give someone who loves to read? Why a crocheted cross bookmark of course! So here is my version of a cross bookmark. The one I gave him was slightly different, I made three variations, and had my family choose which one to give him. He really liked it and it warms my heart every time I give something away that I’ve made. Happy Birthday Frank!
That is a very lovely cross bookmark 🙂 What a wonderful gift – Thank you for linking up at Link & Share Wednesday! Rhondda (Oombawka Design) http://oombawka.blogspot.ca/2013/10/link-share-wednesday-week-11-link-party.html
