A Crochet Tutorial on how to make a Crochet Ring. It’s the very basic start to crocheting and sometimes overlooked in the steps to crochet. So here is one way to make a ring to get you started. Here we go…
This post contains affiliate links.
1. Make a slip knot on your hook. Click here for tutorial.
2. Chain 6 or number indicated on your pattern.
3. Insert hook into 1st chain made (furthest from your hook).
4. Yarn over (YO).
5. Pull yarn through both loops on hook. Ring made.
6. Chain number of stitches to begin pattern.
You’re now ready to start the next step in your crochet pattern. The tension of the loop on your hook should be loose enough that it slides easily on your hook, but not too loose to fall off. I hope this tutorial has been helpful and you’re on your way to start crocheting.
