Crochet Snowflake – Free Crochet Pattern
The Crochet Snowflake is a free crochet pattern that I love to make at Christmas. These make great gifts and are nice to stuff inside a Christmas card for an extra surprise for the recipient. They are fun to decorate with too, I love them on my tree and dining room table every year.

how many stitches for the magic circle?
Hi Sam, you can either do 6 chains, slst to first chain to form a circle and then begin, or for magic circle, just leave enough room to get 12 sc in it before tightening the circle. Here is a photo tutorial on it – http://www.allfreecrochet.com/Tutorials/How-to-Crochet-the-Magic-Circle
how do i do a picot
Hi Janet, picot is chain 3, sl st in 3rd chain from hook.
thank you
